to the Department of Health, Human Services & Public
Policy. HHSPP is recognized for unique and innovative
programs that provide students, who are interested in
careers in the health and human services and public
policy professions, with integrative and multidisciplinary
learning opportunities including academic study and
field-based practice in community-based public health,
social work and public policy.
Students develop the knowledge, skills and values of
collaborative leadership, professional ethics, cross
cultural competence, and the use of technology in all HHSPP programs. In addition, the processes essential
to empowering individuals, families, organizations,
and communities seeking to create positive change in society are
emphasized as important academic and professional goals
for students, faculty and staff.
HHSPP
currently offers two major inter-professional education
programs: a Bachelor of Arts degree in Collaborative
Health and Human Services (CHHS) and a Master
of Public Policy (MPP) degree.
HHSPP also offers three minor degree programs: Environmental
Health Policy and International
Health Policy and Social
Work.

- HHSPP faculty and staff welcome new and continuing students to the Fall 2008 semester! Registration for new students began April 21, 2008 and registration for new students began June 16, 2008. Fall 2008 classes begin on Monday, August 25, 2008.
