50 - INFORMATION AND/OR REFERRAL - Patient inquires about services available.
50.1 Provide complete and updated information on transportation systems and alternatives available in the community and assist in accessing transportation when needed.
50.2 Provide multi language counseling materials and referrals to underserved women above the poverty level.
50.3 Provide knowledgeable, language appropriate, patient navigators (either cancer survivors or some persons in the history of cancer awareness) to accompany patient to doctor and therapy appointments, if needed.
50.4 Increase emphasis regarding better prognosis with early detection and treatment.
