Information Managment
Demonstrate the ability to apply computer and internet technology to health and human services practice.

Core Competencies:

Knowledge: Demonstrate an understanding of the quality of information available, especially through electronic media and differentiating between "good" or reliable data and that which is suspect.

Skills: The ability to demonstrate skills in:

  • Managing information by use of the Internet and electronic software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and File Maker Pro

  • Gaining access to information through electronic and published media
  • Presenting information in electronic formats such as Excel and PowerPoint

Attitudes: Demonstrate an understanding of the role that advanced technology in public and private non-profit health and human service delivery.
